The attendance for today was as bad as usual.
We did some oral picture discussions with the kids but I was rather sad with their attitude.
They seemed quite restless and talked a lot, perhaps because it's the first day of school?
Well, if you know me deep enough you should know that I don't like to scold kids, but i did nevertheless.
Both Huilong and I "lectured" them or rather, told them the rational for that.
After the serious talk and a short reflection session, it's almost 5.15 pm.
I gave them the permission to leave earlier but all of them stayed to play games!
Haha.
We the helpers joined the fun and left at 6.05 pm.
On the way home, I saw these two primary school girls with their mum walking home.
The older sister suddenly shouted at the younger one for some unknown reasons:"When we step into the school, we ought to be independent!"
I have never expected a young kid [around 10 year old] to say something like that.
I was thinking, even I myself don't practise independence when stepping into my college.
I admit I am the sort that can't live without friends.
I then touched my cheeks, they are scorching..
