IRAS gathering @ SG
7/09/2009 11:53:00 PM

Bon Anniversaire Esther Chan!
Tonight was a splendid night spent at Seoul Garden Ngee Ann with the IRAS ex-colleagues.
We had joy we had fun we had gossips about him.
Again, we had taken tons of photos and laughed really hard.
After the steamboat, while we were walking towards the exit, I realized my bangle had gone missing!
Then I quickly ran up the escalators back to Seoul Garden with Linyan following me up.
Thanks God, I found it lying calmly on the floor outside SG.
It must have dropped when we were taking photos outside the restaurant with the fake doors!
Luckily...

*waiting for the photos from Norman..

My hp is spoilt
7/08/2009 10:26:00 PM

Bon Anniversaire Peiwen!

This morning I met Sally's Australian client, Mr George Grace at Orchard.
I brought him to Starbucks for a drink while waiting for Dardar to arrive.
After that we treated him again to The Imperial Crystal Jade for Chinese cuisine as Mr George said he loves Chinese food.
We had a whole day chatting and Mr George told us many experiences he had when travelling around the world.
He said he loves Xiamen, China the most and feels that it is the most beautiful place in the world.
Haha.
After lunch, we took a few pictures and sent him to his hotel to pack his luggage as he's flying back to Aussie tonight.
Nice to meet you Mr George!

After seeing Mr George off, Dardar and I walked around Orchard before I left to meet Linyan for French lesson.
While walking to Cambridge LS, a lady asked me to lend her my phone but I told her my phone had no battery.
After I showed her, i dropped my phone hard on the floor.
I picked it up and put inside my bag, not realizing anything wrong.
It was only when we were in the classroom and I was trying to send a text then I realized that my phone's LCD had cracked!
Gosh!
The worse is that this physical damage is not under warranty and I have to pay around $150 to get it repaired......
So sad, no money for that .. :(
Dardar asked me to repair it and he will pay for it or he wil get me a new phone but I don't want to waste money.
So now he gave me his phone while he used my brother's that army phone.

Thank you guy A!

Today I went to Heeren Shopping Mall to promote Ricola sweets.
Then I saw Janice!
I was so happy to see her so I gave her lots of Ricola sweets.

Hehe.

At around 4 pm, few guys approached me and invited me to join the Talent Search - a Nationwide Hunt for Singapore's most attractive and most glamorous woman.
I rejected as i didn't bring my own clothes, I was wearing the Ricola uniform then.
Didn't want to disgrace myself, I kept rejecting them.
However they kept saying only 6 participants will be chosen, so it is very easy to win the prize(Cash $500).
I didn't want to and kept emphasizing on the clothes, but they said it's okay to wear that uniform.
Then at last, Joy-The Peron-in-charge- came and "rescue" me.
Haha.

After the three-hour work, it was raining heavily then.
I hid at one corner, waiting to cross the road when a guy offered me a shield.
I accepted because he looked kind and I knew that without his umbrella it would be a big problem for me to find where the MRT Station is..
On the way we chatted a bit, he said he saw me when I worked for Ricola earlier last month, he thought I am a Poly student..
He's selling Adidas products at Heeren and said will give me discounts if I go buy things from him.
Lolx.
The guy sheltered me all the way from Heeren to Orchard MRT, and of course, I didn't forget to give him the Ricola sweets I had in my bag.
When I reached Orchard MRT, I quickly ran to catch the train to meet my boyfriend.

unlucky day
7/03/2009 11:59:00 PM

Went for my driving today and my fingers got clasped by the car door when I tried to close it.
It was so painful that I screamed hysterically and then the instructor Mr Ngui brought me to the staff room to have them medicated.
Then Mr Pang, my other instructor, sprayed pain-killer spray on my fingers before i went for my theory lesson.
Merci beaucoup monsieur!
At the end of the theory lesson the swell went down pretty much but my fingers could still feel tinge of pain when I drove at the second lesson after that.

So pity of me!!

And p.s. Yishun really full of weird poeple man.
I have been bouncing into random guys trying to talk to me this week.
As usually, I just starred at them and walked off.

After driving, Joyce, Meijin and I headed to town for steamboat - a make-up for MJ's birthday.
My first time not trying the spicy soupbase because the two girls don't like it.
Well, the seafood there seemed fresh but in fact weren't.
Comparing to Lai mei Zi which we used to patronize, I prefer their meatball, dumplings and soupbase.
However MJ and LL kept saying LMZ is a horrendous choice, I didn't know why they said so lehx.
For the two years of JC life, we had been going there for steamboat and found it pretty okay though.
*puzzled*

I have booked my Traffic Police Test date: 28/08/2009, 12.30pm.
Bonne Chance!

French Vocabs:
* Merci beaucoup monsieur[mair'ci boo'coup mee'siur]: Thank you very much sir!
* Bonne chance[buhn shahns]: Good luck!
