My sis bought 4 facial vouchers at Jean Yip, expiry date is this July 31st.
I thought of going with two sisters and mummy but mummy and second sister don't want to.
So big sis suggested that we each ask a friend and go together.
The first person I thought of was Dardar and then Jing.
Dar doesn't want so I asked Jing but she was in Malaysia so can't either.
So I asked few others, however only Meijin can make it. So since her birthday just over, so I treat it as a birthday present for her, plus a lunch or dinner.
We reached City Square Mall at 5pm just now and filled in the form as usual.
Then we were brought to two different rooms for facial.
It was quite a good experience, and the best thing was, after the facial, the person didn't show us any facial package at all.
I was shocked! It was the FIRST time after so many facial experiences with others.
After that then came back to join my family for dinner at Chongpang.
Highly recommended : Jean Yip @ City Square Mall (Original price $374)...
On Monday, My BF and I went to Tampines, and we saw one salon offering haircut at only $10 and the queue was really long. It comprises of costumers of different ages and genders. I then told my boyfriend to give it a try since the salon looks rather clean, hence the result shouldn't be too bad. He tried, but asked me not to risk it, he said he has money to pay for me! Hahaha. I took his advice, didn't have hair cut there but instead, at Monsoon Twister. It costs about $30 for cut + wash + blow. I guess it was still alright after I cut my hip-length hair to neck-length bob. Luckily the result didn't disappoint me much.
Nevertheless, I looked different, absolutely.
Then for the rest of the time after my haircut that evening, my BF kept calling me xiao wan zi, and SMS addressing me as little ball. For those who don't know who she is, her English name is Chibi Maruko Chan, the famous Japanese cartoon girl. She looks like this:
Okay, this is my new hair style right after cutting:
It looked nice for just one day. The very next day my hair started to curl at the ends and my mum nagged at me for cutting it. She likes me with long hair, and kept saying why I cut it without telling her. Worst of all, she said I look auntie! Then my siblings commented that it looks horrible. During our dinner, they still said that our family has a free mushroom, if needed, can be used for dinner! HAHHAA. On Tuesday, I met up with my friends for durian, they said they prefer my long hair! Then my tutee said so as well. Though comments were not really good, but I am still okay with my new hairstyle. Went out seeing other girls with long hair I didn't feel envy AT ALL. Wednesday, I went to get many hair care products, so that my bob will not look dry and stiff. I also bought one hair dye - BLONDE colour. I am deciding whether to go salon or DIM (Do It Myself) at home. Was thinking if going salon will dye blonde, if DIM will dye brown using the blonde dye. On Thhursday night, Jing sms-ed me asking me if I want to go for photo shoot today (Friday) at Dhoby Ghaut area, from 8am-11am. Her cousin/uncle will be the photographer. I really feel like going but it's too early. So yesterday at 10plus, I quickly dyed my hair using the dye I bought because salons were all closed. I used about 3/4 of the dye and gave BF the other 1/4 because he didn't want to be too obvious. In the end as expected, my hair turned brown instead of blonde, but that's the exact result I wanted. Blonde is just too loud for me, I wouldn't dare to try. Then my family said it looks slightly better. And they added, it will be better if I go rebond my hair. But just dyed my hair, I will not rebond it, at least for these three months.

This morning (Friday) I didn't manage to wake up at 6.30am but instead at 9plus. I felt so sad because I really want to take some shoots. Wanted to call Jing but scared she might be busy, so texted her to apologise. She was having lunch then, going for second round after that I think. So good for her to have a cousin and a uncle who can help her take model shoots. Hahaa. Okay, got to go get some ingredients with my family, having steamboat at home later!
Few months back, I was shortlisted as the Student Ambassador for the annual Singapore International Water Week, SIWW.
I was actually thinking of rejecting firstly but in the end forgot about it.
When I was in Hong Kong, I received Jeanmay's email, asking if I am free to help in PUB a week before SIWW.
Thus, after I am back from HK, I joined PUB for a week.
I was there, together with Jessica and Valerie, helping them with some admin stuffs and SIWW related things.
It was really fun, especially the times I spent with Karen and Jess!
We love 38-ing, they are both so cute!! LOVES.

Then, my job as a student liaison officer (LO) starts on Sunday, 03/07/2011.
I was supposed to pick up my Canadian delegate Mr Marvin DeVries from the airport at 11.56pm.
But he emailed me at 3pm on Sunday, informing that he would be arriving early at 7pm instead.
Then I quickly changed the transport and everything.
I was almost late on that day, the very first time going airport to fetch someone ALONE.
And I was holding the placard, in business wear.
First day of SIWW:

Below is the photo taken with Mr Marv at the Networking Lunch.
He is a nice and humorous guy.
Being his LO, I take care of his schedule related to SIWW.
He is someone who is chatty and needs not to eat much.
Hahaha, he still said that he would complain to his wife that I didn't give him anything to eat but sweets!

Kudos to Mas and Maurice, I joined the Lee Kuan Yew Dinner together with two LOs.
It was rather pity that all my friends' delegates were not invited to this dinner so they had all gone home.
Otherwise I would bring any two of them in!!

The next day, Wednesday, 6th July, we visited NTU's pilot plant.
This is the group photo (:

SIWW 2011 is fun because of you guys (: LOVE.
Mr Marv is the speaker for American Business Forum, thus we were requested to take a few photos.
Formal and candid shoots.
Mr Marv was worrying about not being able to catch his flight on time while waiting for his turn to speak at the forum.
Thanks to Shanker's help in swapping the last two speakers' slot, Mr Marv was ten minute earlier.
We took an instant photo using my sis's Polaroid Camera.
We took two, one for him, one for me (:

Rushed off to the airport, after sending Mr Marv off, Jess and others asked me to go back to MBS for the closing dinner. I was still considering then CT asked if I am going, then I decided to go. Glad I went as the dinner was a fantastic one!
We had buffet and alcoholic drinks by the bay.
Delicious food accompanied by cooling sea breeze, scenic music fountain and friends!
Then at 8pm, Mas got us tickets to Art Science Museum and Skypark.
Val chose the formal while Jess and I chose the later.
I wanted to get one for CT, but Mas didn't even want to give to Karen so I didn't dare to ask also.
As the PUB staffs are not allowed to join, the three of us left without them.

However, after a while at the skypark, we were delighted to see all the PUB staffs there too!
Think they had some tickets left over.
Had a few photos on the rooftop with them.
It was really fun!

Before going up to Skypark, we took a few photos at the booth at Event Plaza.
We were really crazy! Took so many photos yet made lots of noise there.

Then I cabbed home with Karen and Jess at around 11pm.
Sorry to make Yinling wait for us for so long.
I also felt guilty towards Cheah Tien as he waited for me till late.
It was very crowded there, and I lost sight of him.
After calling him, I know that he was with Rachel so I thought he was enjoying himself there also.
Thus I didn't call him again.
Then he waited for me yet in the end I didn't go home with him cuz I put my stuffs in Yinling's car so got to wait for her to finish her stuffs first.
SORRY CT!
