This is the second week of school, but my social networking continues. I think I have not yet fully prepared myself for school till now. I have got to pick up my momentum soon so that I won't find myself lagging behind at the middle of then term again.
Yesterday, I attended SIWW Appreciation Dinner with many others. When we reached Environmental Building, many of the PUB staffs said that I look very pretty with short hair. They complimented me so much that I blushed. Then Pearlyn, an SP girl, said that she likes my hair so much that she is going to have the same hair cut as mine. Thank you for that, girl (: There was also this female minister who talked to us for a while and she said that I must be the prettiest of the Engineering course, of course I said I am not! Anyway, so many people commented that I look like a doll like short hair, and that I look younger. So thankful to every one's kindness! However, a few also said that they prefer the long hair Kathy, cuz I look more feminine that way. No matter what, the change is worthwhile!
That night I represented NTU to get award from the Minister for Environment and Water Resources, Mr Vivian Balakrishnan, for the distribution towards SIWW 2011. Together with another two universities' representatives, I chatted with him for a short while. He is a very nice minister who took photos with whoever requested. That night, I took numerous photos, as usual.
