I am back in Singapore,on 20th June at 9.20pm. This Global Immersion Programme in Shanghai (3rd Jan to 20 June) has allowed me to treasure my close friends more. Honestly I have never been in this state, I used to use 'busy' or "meet too frequently" as an excuse to reject my friends. I guess after this trip, I will go out with them whenever they ask if I am free. I won't care whether did we just meet two days ago, or whether meeting is just for a simple meal. I learn to appreciate the real friends around me.
On the other hand, I am also very disappointed with some friends whom I thought are the good friends of mine. Sadly, they didn't show concern to me while I was in Shanghai, not as much as I expected. When I am back they didn't even know also. Kind of sad.But hey, let's forgive and forget! Live got to move on, at least I enjoyed exchanging letters with those who care and also I am more independent, a better cook and can do more house work! Though I am still a cry-baby and as timid. Who cares? Here I have my most precious family and friends, I won't cry as much and as often, I hope!
The presentation at SIWW Sharing session was a total failure! Didn't expect the slides to be randomly taken, 5/16 slides selected to be presented. Was a bit at a loss on the stage, should have checked the slides before the presentation this morning!!! MAD. But the disappointment soon erased after shopping with my dear 38!

I am glad that Yang come to Shanghai so that I can show my
hospitality as a host and bringing him around Shanghai. However there are many places
that I have not covered due to the lack of time. In the end we have only gone
to Cheng-huang-Miao, Tian-zi-fang, Qi-pu-lu, Thames Town, People’s Park, The
bund, Najing Pedestrian Street, Qibao old town, Buffet and Spa and some others J I have planned to bring him to Wuxi or Nanjing but in the
end failed to due to the ill discipline of the host. I am so sorry, I hope this
trip is worthwhile for you (:
I will be flying back really soon! Today at 4.15pm at Pudong
Terminal 1! I cannot wait to see my family and loved ones!

This Yunnan trip is definitely worth
the bucks, we went to 昆明，大理 ，丽江 and 楚雄. The
trip would have been completed by adding Shangrila if not for the shortage of
time. Of all the four places mentioned, I love Lijiang the most! It has the
most majestic mountain - 玉龙雪山 (Lijiang)! The panoramic view and the
snow cap were the highlights of the trip! We have also watched a stage drama
called “Impression Lijiang” by the famous Chinese director, Zhang Yi Mo. The 60-minute performance was a touching and marvelous show one should not miss when
visits Lijiang! Interested readers can get the full version video clip from me

Time to catch some rest if I don’t

It was my last day of
internship at Shanghai Mapletree yesterday, Gidman and I bought some
tea boxes for our bosses and colleagues. The office was rather dead yesterday as the bosses and Mandy were out for meeting. There was no tinge of farewell mood that we(I) expected, kind of disappointed. However it was quite sweet for Kelly and Shirley to buy us each a small
token. Kelly gave me a key chain while Shirley gave me a soft toy to
put my keys inside. I love them all!

Today it marks the
last day of our immersion programme in Shanghai Fudan University, which
means the last day of GIP! We had a small ceremony in the afternoon,
photos and videos were shared, games were played and song (朋友) was sung, ensemble! It was a heart-warming scene witnessing everyone 'graduating'
from Fudan, hugging one another while taking photos. We totally indulged in a afternoon full of laughters and food till the sun started to set.
Tomorrow I will be
going to Yunnan with 6 friends and will be back on 14th June, then will
look forward to the highlight of this month, the arrival of my bestie in
Shanghai, Yang!
